Frequently Asked Questions

We can usually get you the money you need right on the spot. Once we've agreed on the value of your merchandise and the amount of the loan, it only takes a few minutes to complete the transaction.
Parlet's Jewelry & Loan will loan money on a wide variety of merchandise. Our most popular items are fine and antique jewelry, diamonds, Rolex watches and gold jewelry. We also loan on guitars, cameras, automobiles, motorcycles and collectibles. If you have a question about your merchandise, give us a call or bring it down to our store.
We will loan the highest amount possible based on several variables pertaining to your item. For example, on diamonds we base the loan value on the 4 C's; Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat Weight. For gold, we base the loan on the carat (10, 14, 18 or 22) and amount of your gold. Other items need to be seen to evaluate the loan amount. (There is no charge for assessing the value of your item.) A customer receives a percentage of the value the broker believes the collateral would bring in a sale. The percentage varies but Parlet's Jewelry & Loan prides itself on giving the largest loans possible.
The initial loan period can be extended by paying the interest due on the loan.
Save your money and renew your loan. Just pay your interest due and extend your loan out for another 4 months.
Over 90 percent of our customers redeem their loans. Parlet's Jewelry & Loan is in the business of making loans, not collecting merchandise. We want to build a long-term relationship with our customers, so we'll work with you for the best outcome possible.
